Nestled at the base of the regal Grand Teton Mountains in Jackson, Wyo., the rustic Trapper Inn is ideal for family vacationers who want to surround themselves with nature's unspoiled splendor.
During the snow- blanketed winter months, guests can enjoy a variety of area tours that include snowmobile and dog sled tours. A shuttle bus is available to take guests to several local ski resorts where they can enjoy downhill slopes for skiers of all skill levels as well as cross country skiing, snowmobiling and a snow-tubing park.
During the mild summer weather, guests of Trapper Inn can take an area whitewater rafting excursion or fish in one of the area rivers. Horseback riding, river tours and hiking trails are also available. For the avid golfers, the Jackson Hole Golf & Tennis Club is the local 18-hole, par 72 course with immaculate greens that will challenge players from the novice to the near-pro.
From the stone and log exterior of Trapper Inn to its country-style décor, guests will feel immediately at home. The two-story inn has an indoor and outdoor spa tub for the ultimate experience in relaxation. The picnic area provides a scenic view of the mountains. Each of the 54 quaint guestrooms feature two queen beds, cable television and dial-up Internet access. Refrigerators and microwaves are available up one request. Area restaurants provide a variety of dining options.
