The Hamilton House B&B is a wonderfully majestic inn and offers guests the peace and quiet they desire on a vacation. Whether guests are on a romantic weekend or in town for business, the inn caters to all types of people. It is conveniently located to Madison, Milwaukee, and Chicago. It is less than 20 minutes from the Lake Geneva Wisconsin recreation area but there are plenty of activities close by for everyone from antique malls to theaters to outdoor activities. Guests will wake up in the morning to a delightful breakfast before heading out for a fun day. If guests choose, they can stay around the inn and have a quiet afternoon. They can stroll through the gardens for some fresh air or take a soothing soak in the hot tub to unwind. In the afternoon, have a cool drink and relax in the common sitting room with friends and family. A massage therapist is available, so guest can relax and unwind while loosening their muscles. The inn also has a game room that guests can choose to play in and make many memories.<br><br>
Select from one of the elegant romantic rooms, many with whirlpool tubs, fireplaces or both. Guests can pamper themselves with plump, down filled comforters, the best linens, and special personal touches everywhere. In keeping with the era and style of the house, each room is dedicated to one of the French Impressionists. | Area Attractions
Lodging at the Hamilton House, visitors will be nestled in the heart of Whitewater. They can browse the downtown shops, dine in a number of restaurants, enjoy the Fireside Dinner Theater, The Irvin L. Young Auditorium, or one of many Wisconsin University cultural events. The surrounding area provides visitors with some of the best bicycling, horseback riding, hiking, or cross-country skiing in Kettle Moraine State Park. Visitors will be less than five miles form the beautiful new National Ice Age Scenic Trail where they can have a good time while learning. Hang gliding is also a popular sport in the area and lessons are available. There are four lakes close by for water sports and the Lake Geneva tourist area is also near so visitors can learn more about the Lake Geneva area. Other attractions include golf, Alpine Valley Music Theater and Resort, shopping in the many antique stores, historical Old World Wisconsin area, or the Elegant Farmer's Market. |
