<b>Location.</b> Victorian Treasure Inn is located in the small town of Lodi, Wis., 25 miles north of Madison and four miles from Interstate 90/94. Visitors to the University of Wisconsin are just five miles from the school, and the Lodi Golf Club is less than one mile away. The inn is also 12 miles from the Wollersheim Winery, located on the eastern bluff of the Wisconsin River.<br><b>Hotel Features.</b> The Victorian Treasure Inn is a collection of two Queen Anne-style Victorian homes (both on the National Register of Historic Places) and a guest house. The main hospitality house, an 1897 Bissell Mansion, offers an evening wine and cheese reception and a three-course gourmet breakfast every morning. It features a formal front parlor, sitting room with original fireplace, and expansive wrap-around veranda. Other highlights of the home include ornate leaded and stained glass windows, pocket doors, combination gas-electric chandeliers, original coal fireplace with Italian tile, hand-carved mantle, and a Cable Baby Grand Piano. The historic buildings are equipped with forced-air heating and central air conditioning.<br><br><b>Guestrooms.</b> Victorian Treasure Inn offers traditional guestrooms and deluxe suites. All accommodations have private bathrooms with full length custom-made bathrobes, 100% Egyptian cotton towels, herbal bath grains, and premium imported soaps. Beds feature goose down comforters and pillows, and radios with CD players. Additionally, the suite units feature two-person jetted tubs, antique fireplaces, cable television with VCR-DVD, in-room coffeemaker, microwave, and bar mini-fridge.<br><br><b>Expert Tip.</b> A winery tour through the Botham Vineyards & Winery, Spurgeon Vineyard, Cedar Creek Winery, and Wollersheim Winery is a great way to spend a Saturday in Lodi. The vineyards are rich in history and offer exquisite wine, and the travel between the vineyards takes guests over peaceful country roads and through picturesque farmland.
