Location. The Woodmark Hotel on Lake Washington overlooks a scenic lakefront and mountain vistas in Kirkland, Wash. The city of Bellevue is three miles away, Redmond is five miles away and downtown Seattle is seven miles from the hotel. Wine connoisseurs are six miles from local vineyards.
Hotel Features. The European-inspired lobby welcomes guests as they descend the curving staircase with its panoramic views of Lake Washington and the Olympic Mountains. Deep-toned wood furnishings and rich fabrics provide a warm ambience in the Library Bar, where guests can enjoy afternoon tea served on fine English bone china. Waters: a lakeside bistro, the hotel's on-site restaurant, offers casual dining with lake, mountain and cityscape views. Guestrooms. The four-story Woodmark Hotel on Lake Washington provides 79 guestrooms with floor-to- ceiling windows and beds with feathertop mattresses, down and foam pillows, and down comforters. Other room amenities include high-speed Internet access, multi-line telephones, twice-daily housekeeping and turndown service. Minibars are stocked with products made in the Northwest.
Expert Tip. Appointment times at the on-site spa can fill up quickly. To ensure a preferred time, guests should book treatments at least two weeks in advance.
