Escape to yesteryear when visiting this inn built in 1907 as a gracious home of a lumber baron. This elegant home sits on a knoll overlooking the historic town of Cathlamet, Puget Island, and the mighty Columbia River. Designed in post Victorian Eastlake style, the house contains numerous examples of old-world craftsmanship, such as inlayed Greek Key patterns in the hardwood floors, plate rails, and crown moldings. The Bradley House provides a glimpse of time gone by. Sit on the porch and watch the huge ships pass by or the Eagles and Osprey soar overhead. There is an 1800's piano to tinker on or just relax and watch cable TV in the privacy of your room. Video rental is available next door. Guests can relax over an espresso or make reservations for a high tea while watching the sun set. The inn is within walking distance to everything in town, including the marina, shops and restaurants. The Bradley House is the only inn in Cathlamet and is located on the beautiful Columbia River and the Lewis and Clark Trail.
All of the inn's rooms are romantic and comfortable, and equipped with an alarm clock radio, bathrobe, cable TV and VCR, complimentary coffee, desk, hair dryer, smoke detector, and turn-down service. There are a variety of local things for the active guests to do such as bicycling, golf, tennis, great salmon and sturgeon fishing, canoeing, wind surfing, antiquing, shopping, and visiting museums. For those who enjoy walking, the inn is the starting point for the 2005 Volkswalk. There are the peaceful roads of Puget Island to explore, and a road through the wildlife refuge which leads to a beautiful beach just minutes away. Bicycle and kayak rentals are available or perhaps guests would like to read a book on the huge front porch. |

61 Main Street, Cathlamet, WA - From Portland International Airport: Take Hwy 205 north to Seattle. Exit 39 (Longbeach) and go over top of freeway. This dead ends into SR4 or Ocean Beach. Take a left turn and then take a left turn onto Main Street. The house is the fourth building on the left. |
