Off the beaten track and nestled in the woods, The Inn at Quail Run is located on 15 pristine wooded acres and offers spectacular views of the Deerfield Valley and Haystack Mountain. During the summer, guests can enjoy a dip in the heated swimming pool and in the winter the property offers some exhilarating toboggan runs. Of course, the hiking on the trails is great all year round. After an activity filled day guests can soak under the stars in the outdoor Jacuzzi. The Inn at Quail Run has a lovely sitting room with a fireplace and conversation nooks. There is also a bar where guests can watch some television or simply admire the stunning view of the valley. The inn offers a larger television room on the first floor with comfy sofas and over 70 recently released videos as well as a ping-pong table that is quite popular with the younger visitors. In the glassed-in dining room where there is always a crackling fire, guests will be served a scrumptious gourmet breakfast while enjoying the view of the valley and the antics of the birds, squirrels and chipmunks at the bird feeders. If you're lucky, you may even see the resident red fox, black bear or deer roaming the grounds.
Each room is tastefully appointed and individually decorated with antique or brass beds, which provide gracious and romantic accommodations. All guestrooms feature a private bath and cable TV with HBO. Deluxe king rooms and suites also offer air conditioning and a fireplace.<br> |

Located halfway between Bennington and Brattleboro on the Molly Stark Trail, Wilmington is a short distance from some of the finest skiing in Vermont, including Mount Snow, Stratton Mountain & Haystack. While enjoying the clean, clear, cool mountain air, stop and browse the many fine shops for that perfect gift, or sample the many dining opportunities from informal to elegant fine dining in downtown Wilmington. Don't forget to take a scenic cruise on the Mt. Mills cruise ship on Lake Whitingham. Mt. Mills also offers canoes, kayaks, sailboats, and surf bike rentals. 106 Smith Road, Wilmington, VT - From Albany International Airport: Start out going Southeast on CR-151/Peter J Delasandro Boulevard/Albany Shaker Road toward Wolf Road. Continue to follow CR-151/Albany Shaker Road. Merge onto I-87 North via the ramp on the left. Merge onto NY-7 East via Exit 7 toward Troy/Cohoes and continue for 30 miles. NY-7 East becomes VT-9. Continue on VT-9 for 25 miles. Turn left onto VT-100/43rd Infantry Division Memorial Highway and continue for four miles. Make a slight right turn onto East Dover Road. Make a sharp right turn onto Smith Road. Turn left to stay on Smith Road and continue for 1/5 mile to the property. |
