Situated only 20 minutes from Jay Peak, The Grey Gables Mansion provides Victorian bed & breakfast accommodations in one of the oldest inns in Vermont. Built in 1888, this Queen Anne Victorian features stained glass windows, gleaming hard wood floors, and an old world feel. Whether you are on a romantic getaway, a ski vacation to Jay Peak, Mount Sutton, Bromont, Stowe or Smugglers Notch or a much needed stress reducer, these beautiful accommodations will do the trick. Guests may entertain themselves at the mansion with a full video collection, board games and library, or quiet evenings by the fire or on the front porch overlooking the unfettered views of the flowing Missisquoi River across the street. Each morning guests are treated to a full breakfast including such scrumptious delights as eggs benedict, blueberry pancakes with Vermont maple syrup, cinnamon french toast. Afternoon tea complete with fresh baked goods is also served each day.<br>
Each Victorian style room features a double bed and period details such as stained glass and ornate woodwork. For guest comfort and privacy, each room also offers its own modern private bathroom, color cable television, hair dryers, alarm clock radio and toiletries by Gilchrist & Soames. |

| Area Attractions
Vermont Skiing, sightseeing and shopping, The Grey Gables Mansion located in Richford, Vermont and only minutes from Montgomery and Jay Peak is an ideal point from which to explore the many different areas of Northern Vermont and Quebec, Canada. Within Richford guests will find several charming shops including a country store (Pinnacle Peddler) and The Pink Lady Antique Shop, as well as several fine restaurants. The town cemetery is a must see, it reminds one of The Per Lachaise Cimetiere in Paris. The Mansion is located across the street from Davis Park, which borders the Missisquoi River, it is an ideal setting for a quiet walk or a nice picnic. Every Saturday during the summer the town also hosts a farmers market featuring many fresh fruits and vegetables. |

122 River Street, Richford, VT - From Burlington Airport: Start out going West on Airport Road towards Logwood Street. Turn a slight right onto US- 2/Theodore Roosevelt Highway/Williston Road. Merge onto I-89 North-St. Albans. Take the VT-104 Exit, #19, toward US-7/VT-36/St. Albans. Merge onto St. Albans Street South. Turn right onto VT-104. Turn a slight right onto VT-105. Turn right onto VT-105. Stay straight to go onto VT-105/Main Street. Continue to follow Main Street. Turn left onto River Street. The Grey Gables Mansion is across the street from the town gazebo. |
