Driving Directions to Grafton, Vermont: From Points North; Interstate 91 South to Exit 7 (Springfield). Follow Rt 11 West through Springfield approximately 11 miles to Chester. In Chester, turn right and follow Rt 11 about .5 mile to Rt 35. Left on Rt 35 South to Grafton, about 7 miles. From Points East; Grafton is best accessed through Keene, New Hampshire - Then take Rt 12 North turning left at the first traffic light to get to Bellows Falls - Then take Rt 121 West to Grafton - or pick up I-91 through Greenfield and follow directions from the South. Please see note above on possible construction delays. From Points South; Interstate 91 North to Exit 5 (Bellows Falls). Bear right off exit to T at end of road. Left on Rt 5 North, 2 miles to first traffic light. Turn left at lights on Rt 121 West. Stay on Rt 121 for 12 miles to Grafton. Please see note above on possible construction delays. From Points West; Follow Rt 7 East to Bennington, then Rt 7 North to exit 4 (Manchester). Take a right on Route 30. When Rt 30 and Rt 11 split (just before Bromley Mountain), stay straight on Rt 11. Follow Rt 11 to Chester where in the center of town, take Rt 35 south into Grafton. Please note: If you are tempted by the sign that reads Grafton via Route 121, be aware that most of the 9 miles is dirt road and can be quite an adventure in bad weather. Approximate Driving Times: Montreal - 4.5 hrs; New York - 4.5 hrs; Boston - 2.3-3 hrs; Burlington, VT - 2.5 hrs; Manchester, NH - 2-2.5 hrs; Albany - 1.5-2 hrs; Hartford, CT - 2 hrs.
