Location. The Hilton Salt Lake City Center stands one-half block from the Salt Palace Convention Center and less than three blocks from Temple Square. Salt Lake City International Airport is located seven miles from this Hilton property.
Hotel Features. Door staff in black and smart blue blazers greet guests as they arrive at this high-rise hotel. The bi-level lobby glows with rich hardwood paneling, a fireplace and marble-tiled floors. An indoor lap pool features indoor and outdoor decks with tables, chairs and blue-and- white-striped chaise lounges. A spa tub adjoins the pool. The Retreat, a small spa near the pool, offers facials and massage therapy. Wireless Internet access is available in the lobby and the 24-hour business center. This center also offers computer stations with high- speed Internet access, a copier, a printer and a fax machine. The fitness room lies adjacent to the pool, however, hotel staff can deliver treadmills directly to guestrooms. Dining options include Spencer's for Steaks and Chops that serves aged, hand-cut prime beef, seared to perfection. Their wine list is comprised of more than 300 selections while the cigar selection is, as of this writing in 2006, the most extensive in Salt Lake City. Trofi serves American fare in a contemporary setting with floor-to-ceiling windows. Seasonal patio dining is available. Java Coast opens early and provides specialty coffees, pastries and sandwiches.
