Location. Nestled along 130 miles of sandy beaches and sapphire waters in Corpus Christi, Texas, the Omni Marina Hotel is the ideal seaside playground for discerning guests. This 20- story bayfront hotel is in the marina district and is two blocks from downtown Corpus Christi. The hotel offers complimentary scheduled shuttle service to the Corpus Christi Airport, located seven miles away.
Hotel Features. Recreational opportunities abound at the Omni Marina Hotel. In addition to the traditional "fun-in-the-sun" beach activities like jet skiing, volleyball, snorkeling and boating, the onsite bicycle rental allows guest to explore the area. The hotel offers an indoor/outdoor pool and complimentary fitness center with locker rooms, dry sauna and spa tub. For those who prefer to work out in private, "Get Fit Kits" are available at the 24-hour front desk.
The business-friendly Omni Marina Hotel features 12,000 square-feet of flexible meeting space which includes 13 meeting rooms and the 4,800 square-foot Texas Riviera Ballroom that offers a scenic view of the Bay. The business center is available limited hours daily and offers fee-based Internet access. The hotel features a casual all-day restaurant, a lobby lounge with pool tables and a coffee kiosk that serves a variety of coffee drinks and breakfast breads.
Guestrooms. The 346 contemporary guestrooms of the Omni Marina Hotel cater to guests with rich cherry-wood furnishings, plush chairs and ornate artwork. Valet stands and electric shoe polishers in each guestroom make it easy to put that "best foot forward." Cable televisions with premium cable channels and video game access and well-lit desks featuring comfortable chairs and multi-line phones with data ports and speaker capabilities make rooms functional and comfortable. Guestroom balconies are sealed and not accessible by guests.
Expert Tip. Located four blocks from the hotel is the Harbor Playhouse. Built in 1925, it is the oldest continuously performing community theater in Texas and celebrates the diversity of Corpus Christi. Volunteers range from 8 to 80 and present a diverse schedule of contemporary and classic musicals, non-musicals and children's plays.

Kid's Corner:
During June & July, 2006, children can visit the Kid's Room, located off the Marina Tower Lobby, inside the Coastline Café where they can enjoy face painting, daily arts & crafts, video and board games and popcorn and lemonade. The Kid's Room is open from 5-9 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Guests can also check out a variety of board games from the front desk.
"Dive-In Movies" are shown at the Marina Pool Deck at 9 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Complimentary popcorn and beverages are provided for kids and adults. |
