The MountainTop Douglas Lake is a secluded resort in Sevierville, Tenn., 14 miles from Dollywood and 19 miles from the Dixie Stampede, a dinner and show attraction created by Dolly Parton. Guests at this rustic resort can take a relaxing walk on the winding nature trails, and stroll over the covered bridge and along the shores of Douglas Lake. Downtown Pigeon Forge, where guests can visit museums, family attractions, and theaters, is a 25-minute drive from the resort. <br><br> This property features over 100 cabins on the shore of beautiful Douglas Lake. Guests can bring their boats and fishing gear to explore the area by water, or rent paddle boats and canoes on shore. An outdoor pool and activity center, which can accommodate up to 100 people, highlight the many recreation opportunities available at this resort. Barbeque facilities with picnic table accommodate families wishing to cook out with complimentary coffee offered in the lobby. <br><br> MountainTop Resorts Douglas Lake features log cabins with rustic charm in addition to modern amenities. These spacious two-bedroom cabins have spectacular views from their wrap-around porches, and feature stone-set fireplaces and fully- equipped kitchens. Other amenities include air conditioning, cable television, VCRs and an outdoor hot tub on a deck. For added fun and entertainment, guests can choose a cabin with a pool table. 2788 Windfall Estates Drive, Sevierville, Tenn. <br> From the Carolinas: <br> Take Interstate 40 West to Newport, Tenn. and take Exit 432-A/US-411 South/Sevierville. <br> When you exit, you will be on Hwy 25/70 for just a short distance. <br> Then you will turn left onto Hwy 411 South towards Sevierville/Maryville. <br> You will travel approximately 10 miles on Hwy 411 South until you come to Flat Creek Road. <br> Turn right onto Flat Creek Road. <br> Go straight through the stop sign and continue for about three miles. <br> Turn left onto Windfall Estates Drive. <br> You will see the office on the right side about a block ahead, and a sign reading "MountainTop Resorts."<br><br> IMPORTANT: Guests must call the Customer Care Center at 800-627-7019 with Confirmation Number to receive information regarding check-in instructions and directions to the cabins. |
