Located on the beach in Myrtle Beach, S.C., Driftwood on the Ocean is three blocks from the Family Kingdom amusement park, one mile from the Pavilion amusement park and three miles from the Myrtle Beach International Airport. <br> With 260 feet of ocean frontage, the resort has plenty of room to spread out on the beach. Umbrellas and lounge chairs are available through a local beach service. The ocean-side pool complex has two outdoor pools (one heated seasonally). Boardwalks and outdoor showers enable guests to easily move back and forth from the beach to the pool area. Parking is complimentary. <br><br> Driftwood comprises 90 guestrooms and suites in three oceanfront buildings. All units have televisions with HBO and refrigerators. Most units have private balconies with oceanfront or ocean views. <br><br> Serving vacationers for over 75 years, Driftwood on the Oceanfront is one of Myrtle Beach's original oceanfront resorts.
