Kiawah Island is unique among privately gated beachfront resort communities. With 10 miles of beautiful beach, 10,000 acres of semi-tropical beauty, and just 21 miles from historic Charleston, this resort provides an incomparable vacation and residential experience. These privately owned villas, artfully blended with the island's natural landscape, offer wonderful family accommodations. The resort amenities include an activity desk, airport transportation for a fee, ATM, business services, dry cleaning service, 24-hour front desk, gift shop, convenience store, beauty salon, and free Internet access in public areas. Guests will have access to a private beach, 20 miles of paved bike trails, 16 area golf courses, nature programs (for a fee), and two tennis centers. Four restaurants are offered on site. Enjoy classical cuisine with contemporary flair in a refined golf club setting at The Dining Room at Osprey Point. The Grille at Turtle Point is a casual dining spot with a warm clubby atmosphere in the Turtle Point Clubhouse. The Shrimpers Restaurant is the perfect spot to enjoy delicious seafood and moderately priced entrees. The Atlantic Room, Kiawah Island Resort's dining room at The Sanctuary, features fish and shellfish caught daily, as well as aged beef and coastal specialties. The resort offers numerous recreational activities on site, including seasonal children's programs and nature programs. Most activities require a fee.<br><br>
Each Kiawah Island villa meets stringent requirements for quality furnishings and decor. A wide variety of views and locations are available. The villas feature all the comforts of home, including all linens, central heating and air, fully equipped kitchen, furnished deck or screened-in porch, living and dining areas, cable television (most with VCRs), washer/dryer, clock radio, and iron/ironing board. Weekly departure cleaning is included. Just 21 miles from the resort, historic Charleston offers 300 years of history, art, and culture, including the Fort Sumter Museum and National Park, Patriot's Point, and Middleton Place Plantation, as well as numerous unique shops, antique shops, galleries, a variety of dining options, and historic tours. Kiawah Island offers 10 miles of beach, hiking and biking trails, championship golf courses, access to nature programs, access to two tennis centers, fishing, surfing, swimming, and volleyball. The Bohicket Marina is just a mile away, offering dolphin and sunset cruises, fishing charter, and yacht charters. Splash Island Water Park and an IMAX theater are within 21 miles from the resort. Freshfields Shopping Village is only one mile away. |

2 Beachwalker Drive, Kiawah Island, SC - From the Charleston International Airport: Take I-526 West for five miles. Exit onto Highway 17 South. Travel five miles. Turn left onto Main Road (Highway 20) and continue on Main Road for 17 miles. Go halfway through the Traffic Circle (Rotary) then exit directly into Freshfields Village. Travel 500 feet to intersection, then turn left onto Freshfields Drive. Go two short blocks and turn right at ResortQuest Reception Center. Park behind our building (brown, with white trim). <br><br> |
