<b>Location.</b>Wild Dunes Resort is a 1,600-acre oceanfront paradise 20 minutes from Charleston. This beautiful resort rests on the tip of Isle of Palms, a barrier island off South Carolina. Guests can enjoy the spirit of the Carolina Low Country in a relaxing, peaceful atmosphere. Two miles of unspoiled white-sand beaches invite guests to swim, stroll or relax. <br><br><b>Hotel Features.</b> There are over 20 pools throughout the resort, plus guests can take advantage of the fitness center, resort transportation and Sports Pavilion Center. The children's and family recreation program is designed to entertain toddlers, youngsters, teens and adults. At the Tennis Center, players can enjoy 17 Har-Tru courts, UPSTA-certified instruction and organized tournaments. The Island Day Spa & Salon offers specialized facials and body treatments, as well as signature hair care. Wild Dunes Resort also offers meeting and banquet facilities with more than 16,000 square feet of versatile meeting space. <br><br><b>Guestrooms.</b> The resort is comprised of the 93-room Boardwalk inn and villas. Guestrooms at the inn offer down comforters and bathrobes, while the two-and three-bedroom villas boast fully equipped kitchens and balconies. The villas feature separate living rooms, dining rooms, fully equipped kitchens with microwave ovens, washers and dryers, and either a screened-in porches or open decks. Other amenities include televisions, VCRs, air conditioning and telephone with voice mail. 5757 Palm Boulevard, Isle of Palms, SC <br> From the Charleston International Airport: <br> Take the airport exit on Ward Avenue. <br> Turn right on Fain Boulevard/Fain Road. <br> Continue on Core Avenue. <br> Turn left on West Aviation Avenue. <br> Take Interstate 26 East. <br> Take the #212 Exit. <br> Merge onto Interstate 526. <br> Take the US-17 Exit. <br> Turn left (North) on US-17. <br> Turn right on Isle of Palms Connector (Highway 517). <br> Continue on SC-517 over the Intracoastal Waterway onto Isle of Palms. <br> Turn left at the foot of the bridge onto Palm Boulevard (Highway 703). <br> Continue following Palm Boulevard North, parallel to the ocean. <br> Follow the Wild Dunes Resort directional sign to turn right on Palm Boulevard extension. <br> Follow the road to the stop gate. <br>Turn left into Wild Dunes Resort Reception Center. |
