* The Greenville area has a high density of
colleges: Furman and Clemson, where you
can probably catch an exciting game...or
Bob Jones University which has a nationally
acclaimed Fine Arts Museum.
Greenville*s downtown area has something
for everyone, fine dining, live bands, shopping,
specialty shops, and something everyone must
see--a new suspension bridge build over Reedy
Falls Park, that circles around a breathtaking
waterfall. Fine arts are a big part of Greenville.
The Peace Center and The Bi-Lo Center are
located in the heart of downtown; these
facilities are the homes to hundreds of shows
each year in all varieties including: comedies,
musicals, opera, famous rock, and countless
other various concerts.
Greenville is a short drive to the mountains
-some located in Greenville County- where views
from Caesar's head and Table Rock have visitors
from many parts of the world snapping away
at their cameras. Also, white water rafting is a
popular sport in nearby mountain areas.
