Recognized for their "World Famous Farm Breakfast, the Columbia Gorge Hotel has crafted a five-course morning meal that guests won't soon forget. Live entertainment is a regular tradition in the hotel's fireplace bar and lounge, where dramatic views of the Columbia River gorge will entertain guests if the music and complimentary champagne social hour doesn't. On the receiving end of much media acclaim, the hotel restaurant features an accomplished menu of Northwest cuisine and even offers open- air rooftop dining during warm summer months.
Guestrooms. With antique reproduction furnishings and baroque design treatments, the guestroom interiors are an unmistakable reference to an age of Victorian sophistication. Early American details such as hand-carved rocking chairs and elaborate canopy beds also give these charming guestrooms some historical significance. Included in the rate of each room, the hotel provides complimentary coffee service, morning newspapers and nightly turndown service that comes complete with gourmet chocolates and roses on the pillows.
Expert Tip.
