These quaint, picturesque cottages in the Great Smokies, offer guests a refreshing change of accommodations and a place of peace and tranquility. Built in the 1930's, of native stone, log and brick, each is unique in its own way. All have fireplaces, front porch swings, ceiling fans, modern bathrooms and completely equipped electric kitchens with coffee pot, microwave, stove, refrigerator and all homemaking needs. The Romancer Cottage has a spa tub. There is parking right beside each Cottage for easy unloading. The sparkling brooks, magnificent undisturbed woodlands and waterfalls that surround the Cottages remain the most impressive thing about the property and provide a naturally scenic setting perfect for relaxing. While there are no phones or televisions, guests can unwind from their days of exploring nearby and enjoy use of the barbecue and campfire area, game room, nature trail, stocked trout pond and Spa and Sauna Bungalow. Mountain Brook Cottages is a place for all seasons, with all the modern conveniences and a fireplace to warm up in front of after a busy day.

| Area Attractions
Close to the Great Smoky Mountains, the cottages are close to fun activities and tours. Go on a Great Smokey train ride, mine for gems, or go visit Biltmore Estate in Asheville. Not far from the cottages is Gatlinburg Tennessee, where there are plenty of attractions. Visit the Cherokee Reservation, where guests can talk to an authentic American native amidst timeworn handicrafts passed down through the ages. Watch the cascading waterfalls, raft down rushing waters, or have fun tubing down Deep Creek. Also try biking, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, golfing, miniature golfing, and hot air ballooning. Visit a vineyard to do some wine tasting, take a stroll through the garden, or see some galleries. |

| Driving Directions
208 Mountain Brook Road #18, Sylva, NC - From Asheville Airport: Take I-26 to I-40 west. Exit at Exit 27 and stay on US 19/23/74 south. Shortly, US 19 will veer toward the right and Maggie Valley but stay towards the left on 23/74 (Smoky Mountain Expressway) and exit at 81 for Franklin/Atlanta/US441 south. Exit and follow the long ramp to the light in Dillsboro. Go straight through that intersection and continue south on US441 9 miles. On the right is a motel and the big Mountain Brook sign. Drive 2/10 of a mile to the office. |
