Comfortable lodgings with exposed beam ceilings and comfortable country- style, custom-made furnishings are what set the Log Country Inn apart. Enjoy the fireplace and piano in the living room of the guesthouse. A fully equipped kitchen is available for guest use. A sauna and afternoon tea are available during fall and winter seasons. The Inn sits on 100 wooded acres on the edge of State forestland. Stroll through the grounds in the summer and admire the vegetable garden. Bring your camera in autumn and capture Mother Nature's leaf painting. In the winter you can walk or ski through the aftermath of a newly fallen snow. A full breakfast is included in the lodging fee. Enjoy innkeeper Wanda's famous blintzes or Russian pancakes served with juices, choice of fruits, local bees' honey, specially selected jams, and home baked breads or pastries.

Located in the heart of the country, there is plenty to do out of doors and in. The Finger Lakes Wine Trail is nearby, as are many of New York State's best waterfalls, and seven nearby state parks. Cornell University and Ithaca College both provide the area with its educational reputation. Other popular visits are the Corning Glass Museum and New York's best pedestrian shopping mall. |

Turn sharp left onto West Clinton St/NY-96B South, and continue to follow for 9.4 miles. Turn right onto South Danby Road/CR-125. Turn right onto La Rue Road and stop once you reach the property. |
