Nestled amongst mature Roman apple trees and lush hedges, scented geraniums and climbing wisteria and perched on the corner in a quiet residential neighborhood, 181 Phila beckons to you from behind a stately black wrought iron fence. From the time guests arrive at 181 Phila, they will feel as though they have stepped into a place where time stands still and their dreams run free. As guests walk through the foyer, they will find themselves in awe, staring up at the light streaming through the original stain glass window in all its splendor. From there, guests may pass through the French parlor which is drenched in rich French Country décor, or continue on into the library to lounge in our overstuffed chair for two by the fire. Perhaps guests will meander out to our wraparound porch to rock peacefully on the swing and watch the horse drawn carriage go by. On those warm, sunny days of summer, guests may find themselves sipping on a cool drink on the patio, enjoying the sweet aroma of the beautiful gardens and looking over the ground heated pool. Whichever guests choose during their stay, they will sure to be grateful for this little piece of heaven.
The rooms at this bed and breakfast will astound guests of any sort. Walk into each room and guests will immediately feel like a King or Queen and may never want to step outside. A truly enchanting haven, guests will find themselves enjoying every part of these glamorous rooms, right down to the bathrooms and their splendid décor. Each room comes with air-conditioning, alarm clock radio, daily newspaper, hair dryer, high speed Internet, and smoke detectors. Guests can also curl up into the fluffy bathrobes that are provided and relax in front of the TV for the night.<br><br> **This property requires a two-night minimum stay for all Friday and Saturday arrivals. | Area Attractions
The Iroquois Indians gave the city the name meaning "medicine springs of the Great Spirit" because of the natural mineral springs curative powers. Today, people are still drawn to the free flowing mineral springs that run throughout the city. In just moments, guests can find themselves amidst many of the sites that the city has become famous for. The inn is a short walk from the Saratoga Racetrack as well as the finest downtown shops, boutiques, restaurants, museums, and parks that the picturesque city has to offer. |

| Driving Directions
181 Phila Street, Saratoga Springs, NY - From Albany International Airport: Take I-87 north to exit 24, to 87 north. Take Exit 14. Make a right turn onto Route 9P(Union Avenue). Turn right onto Nelson Avenue. The inn will be ahead on the left and is a gray Victorian house with green shutters and a tall, black iron fence. Park in front of the house on either Nelson or Phila, but observe street signs. Overnight parking is around the rear of the garage. |
