Located just 75 miles north of New York City, Minnewaska Lodge is a contemporary 26-room mountain lodge on 17 secluded acres, nestled at the base of the spectacular Shawangunk Mountains. Minnewaska Lodge provides guests with the luxury of the fine hotel combined with the cozy comfort of a bed & breakfast. Ideal for a family or business getaway, the lodge also has facilities for small group meetings and conferences and corporate retreats. Guests love the convenience of the lodge's fitness center with treadmills, an exercise bicycle, and a multi-station weight machine. The chefs at Minnewaska Lodge prepare each morning's offerings of homemade baked goods and granola, fresh fruits, hardboiled eggs, yogurt, a selection of breads and cereals, juices, teas and freshly roasted organic coffees. Enjoy breakfast in the comfort of the Great Room and watch the sun illuminate the 1200-foot cliff face, right out the back door.
Minnewaska Lodge offers 26 guest rooms with many fine amenities including cable TV, 2-line telephones, complimentary high-speed Internet access and voice mail. All rooms feature oak Mission-style furnishings, cliff or forest views, are non-smoking, and many rooms have a private deck and cathedral ceiling. From balconies on the west side of Minnewaska Lodge, guests will have views of the spectacular cliffs. | Driving Directions
3116 Route 44-55, Gardiner, NY - From Newburg Airport: Take NYS Thruway north. Take Exit 18 at New Paltz. After the toll plaza, turn left onto Route 299 (Main St.). Proceed through the Village of New Paltz. Cross the Wallkill River Bridge and continue on Route 299 for about five miles. Route 299 ends at Route 44/55. Turn left at the intersection and Minnewaska Lodge will be immediately on the right. |
