Nestled on the North Shore of Long Island is Cold Spring Harbor, a town that is truly enchanting. Cold Spring Harbor has a great deal to offer visitors. Situated on the west end of this charming hamlet, overlooking the harbor for which the village is named, is the Swan View Manor. This recently refurbished bed and breakfast inn provides uniquely decorated bedrooms and scenic views in the atmosphere of an historic fishing village. At the Swan View Manor guests will feel pampered, as if they were visiting a favorite relative. Each morning in the cheerful dining room, guests enjoy a lovely buffet breakfast, including fresh fruit and juices, choice of cereals, yogurt, assorted breads, bagels, and muffins, preserves, coffee and specialty teas. The cozy sitting room invites guests to relax with a good book or dream in front of a crackling fire on a crisp winters' evening. Complimentary tea, coffee and soft drinks are available throughout the day as a prelude to our delightful afternoon tea.
The air conditioned rooms are decorated with floral comforters, lace curtains and modern conveniences such as cable television and telephones. Most rooms boast a view of the water. | Area Attractions
Within walking distance of the inn guests will find plenty to do and see. The town of Cold Spring Harbor is packed with interesting shops, museums and fine restaurants. Visit the Harbor Fish Hatchery where visitors can go on a tour and see a feeding demonstration and the Whaling Museum where people can see exhibits of Long Island's history of whaling. For the history buffs, head out to the Vanderbilt Museum/Mansion, which is a planetarium with historic exhibit and Sagamore Hill, which is Teddy Roosevelt's estate that has been restored to its natural beauty. Don't forget to stop by Caumsett State Park where visitors can fish, hike, and ski or Jones Beach, with a sandy shore, boardwalk, and many restaurants to eat at. |

| Driving Directions
45 Harbor Road, Cold Spring Harbor, NY - From Newark Airport: Take I-95 south to Goethals Bridge/Staten Island Expressway (Route 178 east). Take Route 278 east to the Verrazano Bridge to Shore PKWY East which becomes Belt Parkway. Take the Belt PKWY to the Southern State PKWY east. Take Southern State to Route 135 north which is exit 28A). Take 135 to Route 25 (exit 14) which is also the Jericho Turnpike. Take 25 east to Woodbury Road. Turn left and take Woodbury to Route 108 to Route 25A. Turn right and the manor is on the right, a half mile down. |
