<b>Location.</b> Tucked up high into the Ortiz mountainside between Santa Fe and Albuquerque, the Hacienda Dona Andrea de Santa Fe is located in Cerrillos, N.M. Originally a mining town, Cerrillos was once considered the capitol of New Mexico. Now it is a picturesque reminder of the Old West, complete with dirt streets and sun-drenched adobe buildings. The J.W. Eaves Movie Ranch is just 10 miles from the inn, and features a full-scale replica of a western town that has been used in over 250 movies and commercials, including <i>Easy Rider</i>, <i>Lonesome Dove</i> and <i>Young Guns II</i>. <br><b>Hotel Features.</b> The inn is located five miles from the town center, high on a hillside with views extending more than 50 miles. From the moment guests enter through the hand-wrought iron garden gates, they will feel they have entered a world that whispers of old Santa Fe. The hacienda has colorful hand-plastered walls, Spanish and Mexican tiles, handwoven textiles and breathtaking mountain views. Guests are welcome to relax by the fountain in the upper and lower level living areas. A patio overlooks the high-desert landscape, and gardens add another level of serenity to the ambience of the property. Outdoor weddings and receptions can be arranged. Complimentary wine and appetizers are available in the late afternoon. Coffee and tea service begins at 6:30 a.m. and continues all day. A seasonal breakfast is served each morning.<br> <br><b>Guestrooms.</b> Each guestroom has a unique décor. All rooms boast fireplaces, balconies with access to a shared patio or private patios, bathrobes and indulgent toiletries. Wine and cheese baskets, floral arrangements, and DVD and CD players can be arranged by contacting the office a few days before check-in.<br><br><b>Expert Tip.</b> Canyon Road is a narrow road about thirty miles from the hacienda. This popular strip was once home to many artists, and now features a number of studios, galleries, restaurants and shops.

78 Vista del Oro, Cerrillos, N.M. <br> From the Santa Fe Municipal Airport: <br> Off Interstate 25 North or South, take the Madrid exit, State Highway 14 South.<br> Continue 15 miles south. (Important - Ignore County Rd 55A. That's not it.) <br> Continue past the town of Cerrillos. (See Post Office on the right.)<br> Go over the bridge across the Galisteo River.<br> Approximately one-quarter mile south of Bridge/County Rd 55 on left, before mile marker 31, turn left on County Road 55. This road is unpaved. <br> Continue for approximately five miles.<br> Turn right on Vista del Oro (not Corazon del Oro).<br> Take the first driveway on the left.<br> Stay left all the way to the top and enter through the large iron gate into the garden. |
