This secluded manor is nestled in the tree covered hills that overlooks the blue Atlantic and Sandy Hook National Recreation area. The manor was built in the 1800's is sheltered by tall oaks which provide peaceful and quiet surroundings. The manor is decorated with antiques along with modern conveniences that make the atmosphere of the manor comfortable and nostalgic. Guests can enjoy the full gourmet breakfast that is served in the parlor or outdoors on the deck, weather permitting, or have breakfast in bed. The parlor has a cozy fireplace where guests can warm up with a glass of complimentary wine. Mingle with other guests in the sitting rooms, or read a daily newspaper to keep up on events. Take advantage of the business services and free local calls the manor has to offer. Stroll through the gardens of the manor or have a seat and relax on the outdoor sundeck. Have a relaxing soak in the hot tub/whirlpool, exercise at a local fitness facility, or watch a movie from the manor's library. There is free parking for all guests of the manor.
The manor offers spacious antique rooms with ocean views. Each room comes with air-conditioning, alarm clock radio, ceiling fan, desk, hair dryer, smoke detectors, and high speed Internet access. There is also a TV with cable/satellite and a VCR. Warm up in the bathrobes provided, and take advantage of the microwave and refrigerator that are also supplied. At night time, the manor provides sweets at turn down. |

Guests can relax on the eight miles of sandy beaches at Sandy Hook, walk on the boardwalk, and take a tour of some historic lighthouses nearby. Fine dine at restaurants inland or have some seaside dining. Visit galleries, aquariums, historic sites, museums, and the theater. Sightsee some of the national and state parks and hit the stores for some shopping. For the outdoor person, try biking, hiking, golfing, miniature golfing, and tennis. For water activities, try boating, fishing, water skiing, and windsurfing. There are also some nightclubs to visit, theme attractions, and professional events to attend. |

| Driving Directions
3 Grand Tour, Highlands, NJ - From Newark Airport: Take Exit 117 off of the Garden State Parkway. Take Route 36 towards Sandy Hook. Proceed 12 miles to the Highlands Bridge that crosses over to Sandy Hook. Make the last right hand turn and before the bridge, look for a restaurant prior to the turn, onto Portland Road. Follow Portland, and pass an entrance to Hartshorne Woods Park and bear to the right and do not enter the park. Proceed up Portland until you see the stop sign. Proceed straight ahead into the Henry Hudson School parking lot and go to the far left corner. The entrance gate if located there. The house is not easily seen from the parking lot. Proceed down the small hill to get to the manor. |
