Location. The billowing white-marble domes of Trump's Taj Mahal Casino Resort bring the architectural majesty of India's famed Taj Mahal to the glittery Atlantic City Boardwalk. Located 10 blocks from the Boardwalk Convention Center, the hotel is 13 miles from Atlantic City International Airport. The Atlantic City Convention Center is less than two miles away.
Hotel Features. The sprawling casino and 51- story hotel tower occupy 17 acres with night clubs, restaurants and boutique shops. Seven two-ton stone elephants greet visitors upon arrival. The hotel's 24- hour front desk and room service provide for guests' needs while the full-service health spa offers guests comfort and relaxation. An indoor pool, sauna, steam room and spa tub are available. For special events, the hotel has conference rooms, banquet and meeting rooms as well as wedding services available.
The hotel's 35,000-square-foot casino boasts 210 table games and more than 5,000 slot machines. The poker room hosts the United States Poker Championship every year and is the only smoke-free poker room on the East Coast. Top-name entertainers perform throughout the year in the 5,000-seat Mark G. Etess Arena and 1,400-seat Xanadu Showroom. A weekend nightclub features deejays and dancing, and live entertainment is performed in the main lobby lounge. More than a dozen distinctively styled dining venues offer a variety of food options throughout the hotel.
Guestrooms. The 1250 guestrooms of the Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort offer expanded cable television. High-speed Internet access is available for a fee. Marble bathrooms include complimentary toiletries.
Expert Tip. First lit in 1857, the Absecon Lighthouse, located one mile from the hotel, is a beacon for tourists visiting Atlantic City. The observation tower offers views of the Jersey Shore at 171 feet in the air.
Unattended Child Policy and Curfew:
Children under the age of 12 are not permitted in public areas without adult supervision. The Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort prohibits children under the age of 12 from being in public areas after midnight and before 6 a.m.. Special consideration will be allowed for on-site youth events. |
