Location. In the middle of the entertainment district of Atlantic City (N.J.), is the Tropicana Casino Resort located on the Boardwalk, just 12 miles from the Atlantic City International Airport. The hotel is one-half mile from Ripley's Believe It Or Not and Ocean One Pier.
Hotel Features. This three-tower complex houses Las Vegas-style entertainment in its three story casino, The Quarter, with 10 restaurants, shopping, theater shows and spas. The casino offers over 1,000 slots and video poker machines in addition to blackjack, craps, roulette and baccarat. The resort has indoor and seasonal outdoor pools, spa tub, fitness room and four tennis courts. The on-site salon offers manicures, pedicures, hair care, massages and facials. The hotel has 122,000 square feet of function space, event planners and a business center. Internet access is available in public areas of the hotel.
Guestrooms. Guestrooms feature city, ocean or Boardwalk views. Guestrooms include video game consoles, dial-up Internet access and cable television.
Expert Tip. The Atlantic City Boardwalk was built to literally keep sand out of the tourists' shoes. At one mile in length, the Boardwalk opened on June 26, 1870. Today, the Boardwalk has been extended and stretches just over four miles.
