Although modest in size, the Four Queens casino is always active, featuring 30,000-square feet of slots, video poker, single-deck blackjack, craps, roulette, pai gow and many tables with low minimums. This hotel is home to the renowned Hugo's Cellar, which locals rank as their favorite gourmet restaurant. Diners may exercise their culinary skills by cooking their own beef, shrimp, swordfish and chicken dishes on hot granite slabs. Entrees include steak, Veal Oscar, roast duck flamed with anise, and raspberry chicken. Magnolia's Veranda, which overlooks the casino floor, features a sushi bar and offers steak, ribs, seafood, pasta and Hawaiian specialties.
Guestrooms. The hotel's 19-story twin towers boast 690 guestrooms that include spacious desks, tiled bathrooms and wireless Internet access. Room service is available on a limited basis.
Expert Tip. Guests appreciate this hotel's intimate size in a location known for its low- priced eateries and high-octane entertainment. Modestly priced by comparison, the Four Queens Hotel and Casino is one of the more popular lodgings in downtown Las Vegas.
