The mansion stands directly across from the Governor's Mansion in the heart of Carson City, near Tahoe and Reno. The home was originally built in Carson City's historic district in 1879 by Duane L. Bliss, Tahoe lumber and railroad tycoon. Today, the Bliss Mansion Bed and Breakfast remains one of the most spectacular homes in Nevada. Bliss Mansion has been fully restored and guests experience modern comforts, combined with the nostalgia of Victorian splendor, for an unforgettable vacation experience Nevada lodging at it's finest. Guests enjoy a full gourmet breakfast served on a magnificent 15-foot handcrafted dining table in the mansion's formal dining room. 608 Elizabeth Street, Carson City, NV - Reno/Tahoe International Airport: Depart the airport heading West on East Plumb Lane and merge onto US-395 South via the ramp on the left toward Carson City and continue for 7.4 miles. Merge onto US-395 South via Exit 57B toward Virginia City/Carson City/South Lake Tahoe and continue for 20.9 miles. Turn right onto West Robinson Street. Turn right onto North Elizabeth Street and continue until you reach the property. |
