The Inn is named for the area's light cinnamon-colored bears that are frequently blonde in color when they first emerge from hibernation. Amber Bear Hollow has a petting zoo of horses, llamas, goats, chickens and other animals is a subtle reminder that the grounds were a ranching homestead for close to 100 years. Water from Brewer's Creek sparkles down the mountainside and was one of the ingredients used in a large bootlegging operation in earlier decades. The Inn is newly constructed, air-conditioned and built with seven fireplaces. A large, wrap-around porch, a casual atmosphere, and hearty country cooking transport you back to a time before calories and cholesterol. Those searching for the amenities of today, and the charm of the farming past, may find it at the new Amber Bear Hollow. A full breakfast is included in the rates.
Each bedroom has a magnificent view and a private bathroom. All rooms include a radio/alarm clock, cable TV (with advanced notice), ceiling fans, coffeemaker, hair dryer, high speed Internet access, shower massage and access to a washer/dryer. |

75 Four Corners Road South, Heron, MT - From Coeur D'Alene Airport: Depart airport going southwest on Airport Drive and then turn left onto West Wyoming Avenue. Turn left onto US-95 North and continue for 38.2 miles. Turn right onto South 1st Avenue/US-95 North and continue to follow US-95 North. Turn right onto North 5th Avenue/US-95/ID-200 and continue to follow ID-200 for 37.8 miles. Turn right onto Heron Road. Turn left onto Harker Road. Turn right onto Clark Fork Road. Turn left onto Four Corners Road South and continue until you reach the property. |
