<b>Location.</b> In a quiet neighborhood just four blocks from the Montana State Capitol and Museum in Helena, Mont., The Sleepy Senator provides a convenient location for business travelers and a relaxing atmosphere for any getaway. Public hiking trails, restaurants and shopping are all an easy walk from this bed and breakfast. The Great Divide Ski Area is an especially popular winter destination with Alpine and Nordic skiing. Hunting, fishing and hiking are favorite warm weather activities.<br><b>Hotel Features.</b> The Sleepy Senator is an 1,800-square-foot, two-story townhouse erected in the late 19th century. The inn features a downstairs parlor, formal dining room and common kitchen areas. There can be only one guest party at a time at this property. Guests have access to an office with Internet, scanner, fax and computer with disc writing capabilities. Complimentary coffee, tea and hot chocolate can be served with pastries in the office. A hearty Western breakfast is also provided, and can be prepared to order. Guests are also welcome to use the kitchen to prepare personal meals and snacks. Guests may also request additional meals, served family style, to be prepared by the innkeeper (fees apply).<br><br><b> Guestrooms.</b> All guestrooms feature pillowtop mattresses with goose-down quilts, down throws and flannel sheets. Bathrobes and slippers, fluffy towels, complimentary lotions and soaps are all provided. Each room also includes a local telephone line with wireless handset and answering machine. Cable television with VCR/DVD player are included as well.<br><br><b>Expert Tip.</b> The Sleepy Senator proclaims their French toast to be the best in Helena.
