This small town getaway is perfect for the business traveler and quiet retreats for families or weddings. The inn is close to entertainment and other fun activities to do while visiting Kansas City. Guests are welcome to enjoy a full breakfast on the weekends, and other snacks throughout the day for a small fee. After breakfast, talk a stroll through the inn's gardens for some fresh air or head to the nearby pools for a swim. For a relaxing afternoon, read a book from the inn's library in the common sitting room, or simply mingle with other guests and enjoy their presence. On a warm, breezy summer day, sit on the sundeck and enjoy the rays while reading the daily newspaper that is available. There is a laundry facility and dry cleaning facility located on premise available for all guests.
Enjoy the splendid bliss that comes from each room's personality. Whether it is painted in blue, has great views, or has touches of the Victorian era, guests will be satisfied. Each room comes with air-conditioning, an alarm clock radio, cable TV with VCR, ceiling fan, telephone, and smoke detectors. Guests are welcome to enjoy their own patio that is attached to each room. There is plenty of fun activities to do while visiting the area. For the shoppers, visit the plethora of malls or go to small specialty shops and wander around. Head over to Weston, MO, which is a historic river town not far from Platte City or check out the Harley Davidson Assembly Plant where visitors can tour with advanced notice. For the sports fanatic, watch the Kansas City Chiefs or the Kansa City Royals at play or go to the Kansas Speedway, which features Nascar and other races. For the outdoorsmen, there is boating, fishing, golfing, and skiing to take part in. Pack a picnic lunch and head out to the national and local parks and toss a Frisbee around. After the park, head to a local vineyard to do some wine tasting or visit the galleries to get a different perspective on things. |
