This circa 1899, three-story raised French cottage is built of brick and cypress and is situated on eleven acres of ancient live oaks and fragrant magnolias. Six fireplaces, usable antiques, and a 64-foot porch with swings aid relaxation. A long sidewalk extends from the front of the inn to "Friendship, Too," a magnificent live oak that's registered with the Live Oak Society. Open since 1986, Red Creek Inn was the Mississippi Gulf Coast's first bed and breakfast. It has been featured in many national and local publications. The roomy parlor has a wood-burning fireplace at each end. There's a 1930's Philco wooden radio, with overseas band, an Edison Victrola, and an Eastlake Victorian Organ. A framed and matted antique postcard collection adds to the homey feel. A second TV room is the screened back porch, with rattan furniture and ceiling fan. Wicker rocking chairs and traditional wooden swings may be found on the front porch.
Each room features air-conditioning, complimentary coffee, a living/dining area and smoke detectors.<br><br> **This property requires a two-night minimum stay for all Friday and Saturday arrivals. There are no king beds.** |

Situated on the Gulf of Mexico, there should be no surprise that the Long Beach area has over 26 miles of pristine beachs. The area is also home to the Jefferson Davis Memorial Home and Library, as well as 13 casinos, 17 golf courses, the Marine Life Oceanarium, and plenty of shopping at the regional and outlet malls. |

7416 Red Creek Road, Long Beach, MS - From Gulfport/Biloxi International Airport: Depart the airport heading East and turn onto US-49 North. Merge onto I-10 West toward New Orleans and continue for 5.9 miles. Take Exit 28 toward Long Beach/Pass Christian/Industrial Park. Turn left onto County Farm Road. Turn right onto Red Creek Road and continue until you reach the property. |
