<b>Location.</b> The Quill & Quilt, located in Cannon Falls, Minn., is located in the center of a scenic riverside community just beyond the outskirts of the Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area. Within a few blocks of the Quill & Quilt is the Cannon Valley Trail (biking and hiking), Cannon River (canoeing, kayaking, and tubing) and the Cannon Falls Historical Museum.<br><b>Hotel Features.</b> Built in 1897 by a Cannon Falls physician, this three-story home is a classic example of colonial revival architecture with stately columns, bay windows, double dormers and arched leaded glass window. A back balcony overlooks the gardens, and the Quill & Quilt has a large front porch with a two-person porch swing. The inn's parlor features an Italian marble and tiger-striped oak fireplace, and the on-site library has DVDs, magazines and books. The third floor houses a spa with two masseuses. Breakfast at the Quill & Quilt is both hearty and fresh, with a seasonally-rotated menu, including baked egg creations, homemade pastries, fruit parfaits and Belgian waffles. Hot tea and cocoa are provided for guests in the evening.<br><br><b>Guestrooms.</b> The guestrooms at Quill & Quilt, furnished with antiques, feature private bathrooms with single or double jetted spa tubs. Cable televisions with DVD players and wireless Internet access are available in all guestrooms. Coffeemaker with complimentary coffee is included.<br><br><b>Expert Tip.</b> The spa suite on the third floor offers private and couples' massages, in addition to aromatherapy wraps, hot stone massages, cleansing facials, salt glows, and foot massages.
