Hear the waves, not the traffic. This charming 1920's summer estate is an all suites getaway in a country-like setting that offers all the pleasures of a bed and breakfast stay. Sitting on the crest of a hill with peaks to the ocean, this turn of the century home offers unassuming elegance with New England charm. Its quiet location and spacious grounds are only a few minutes walk to picturesque Marblehead harbor, Devereaux beach, and many of the town's shops, restaurants and galleries. Guests wake up to a generous continental breakfast of fresh fruits, luscious breads and bagels, yogurts, and more. Mornings are perfect for taking a little extra time with coffee and the newspapers on the wicker furnished porch, wandering the gardens, cozying up to the parlor's fireplace, or relaxing in the shade with a good book. Pheasant Hill is perfect in all seasons for all occasions.<br><br>
The attractive suites feature an eclectic mix of antiques, hand-painted furniture and collectables. Artist murals add a little whimsy to the decor. A balance of old and new, the suites have some of the original sconces, stained woodwork, and pedestal sinks as well as more modern comforts of telephones, televisions, radio/alarms, small refrigerators, and individual air-conditioners and heaters. All rooms have writing desks, sitting rooms, and private baths. Guests can be supplied with hair dryers and iron and ironing boards. Pillow top mattresses and high quality linens complete the comfortable accommodations.<br><br> Suites are on the second floor. **This property requires a two-night minimum stay for all Friday and Saturday arrivals. Not suitable for children 10 and under.**<br><br> Guests who plan to arrive after 7 PM must call 800-627-7019 at least 48 hours prior to arrival to receive the number to call for check-in instructions. |

Experience the charm of this historic old town. Visitors can visit the sandy beaches for a fun filled day, go sailing on a boat, browse some antique shops, or visit the nearby Salem Museum to learn about the history and culture. Visitors will find plenty of things to do, it is just choosing what activities to do first. Visit the aquarium in Boston to see interesting animals, go to the golf course in Salem for a fun time, or simply stay in town and sightsee the historic sites of Marblehead. Pack a picnic lunch and head out to a local park to throw a Frisbee around or just to relax and read a book. Whatever visitors choose to do, they will not be disappointed with Marblehead and its surrounding towns. |

| Driving Directions
71 Bubier Road, Marblehead, MA - From Logan Airport: Take I-A north and bear right at Route 129 towards Marblehead/Swampscott. Go around Rotary and continue on 129. After the Welcome to Marblehead sign, 129 becomes Atlantic Avenue. Stay on Atlantic for two miles to the light at Ocean Avenue. Go one more block on Atlantic to Bubier Road. Turn right on Bubier Road and continue to the top of the hill. Pheasant Hill B&B is on the right side. Please use the upper driveway. |
