Whistler's Inn Bed & Breakfast is an English Tudor mansion built in 1820 that gives the feel, warmth and elegance of a bygone era. Morning light streams through the leaded glass windows of the baronial dining room. Enjoy breakfast here with your well-read and well-traveled hosts, and choose from a generous and varied buffet, which includes fruit, hot breads breakfast casserole, coffee, tea and juice. The dining table is famous for stimulating conversations on wide ranging topics with guests that travel from all over the world to experience the charm and elegance at Whistler's Inn. Stroll through the 7 beautiful acres of gardens, lawns, and woodland. Enjoy the picnic area and badminton court. From Alcott and Byron to Yeats and Zola, the 2,000-volume library is rich with great literature, poetry, art and history. The music room is set in Louis XIV décor and there is both a 20th century Steinway grand piano as well as an upright piano, which guests and the occasional concert pianists that stay at here can play duets.
The guest rooms feature modern baths and are beautifully decorated and furnished with antiques and reproduction pieces. Several of the rooms feature fireplaces.<br><br> **This property requires a two-night minimum stay for all arrivals.** |

5 Greenwood Street, Lenox, MA - Albany International Airport: Depart the airport heading Southeast on CR-151/Peter J Delasandro Boulevard. Merge onto I-87 South and continue for 2.6 miles. Take the I-90 East/I-87 South/I-90 West exit - Exit 1 - toward Albany/Boston/New York/Buffalo/New York Thruway. Merge onto New York State Triway South/I-87 South via Exit 1W toward New York/Buffalo/New York Thruway (portions toll) and continue for 14.8 miles. Take Exit 21A toward I-90 East/Massachusetts Turnpike/Boston. Merge onto the New York State Thruway East (portions toll) and continue for 24.1 miles. New York State Thruway East becomes I-90 East/Massachusetts Turnpike (portions toll), which you will continue on for 10.4 miles. Merge onto US-20 West via Exit 2 toward Lee/Lenox/Pittsfield and continue for 5.5 miles. Turn left onto Hubbard Street. Turn right onto MA-7A/Main Street. Turn left onto Greenwood Street and continue until you reach the property. |
