Five miles from Logan International Airport, the Charles Hotel is a stylish New England retreat just off the Charles River with floor-to-ceiling windows offering panoramic views of Harvard Square. The hotel's stately appeal places it appropriately in the midst of the reverence of nearby Harvard University and JFK Memorial Park. In its history, the hotel has been host to celebrities, musicians, academics, politicians, presidents, and global and religious leaders.
The original works of realist art within the Charles Hotel represent the largest such art acquisition program by an American hotel. Each of the guestrooms feature Shaker- inspired light wood furnishings and modern amenities such as high-speed Internet access, DVD players, BOSE Wave radios and EO bath products. Guests also receive terry cloth robes and a luxurious down quilt on the bed, all in the name of unassuming elegance.
The hotel's dining options in which guests can enjoy the fine cuisine in the classy and sophisticated Charles Hotel. The Rialto is inspired by French, Italian and Spanish regional dishes using seasonal New England ingredients. Always featured are the most requested dishes such as grilled Wellfleet clams with toasted garlic bread or slow roasted Long Island duck with braised escarole, roasted fingerling potatoes and Sicilian green olives. For a more a down-home and relaxed experience, Henrietta's Table serves Yankee Pot Roast with taters and gravy, and mac and cheese to the kids. The Noir Bar is a martini bar with 1940s ambience, but decadent and full of metal and dark colors. A Cambridge hot spot for live jazz, the Regattabar Jazz Club is an annual favorite of music fans in the Boston area.
Blending tradition, education and international diversity, Harvard Square's offerings, including fine dining, shopping and entertainment venues, are just outside the front door of the Charles Hotel, if not within.

Take Sumner Tunnel to Rt 93 North to Storrow Drive W.
Take the Harvard Square/Cambridge exit and turn right.
Cross Memorial Dr and go over bridge onto JFK Street.
Turn left at light on Eliot Street and left on Bennet St.
