The Charles Inn is Bangor's only downtown hotel and also the first art gallery hotel in Maine, displaying original artwork by well-recognized artists throughout the hotel. The Victorian-style inn is three blocks from the Penobscot River and four miles from Bangor International Airport. Close to restaurants, pubs and entertainment, the downtown hotel is also close to business and governmental offices.
