A classic example of a Queen Anne Victorian home with beautiful architecture, this bed and breakfast will make any guest feel right at home. Built in 1905, the inn has a tremendous double wraparound porch, a crystal chandelier, and is decorated in French, English, and American antiques. The Queen Anne has spacious guest rooms and a delightful gourmet breakfast that guests will enjoy down to the last crumb. Guests are invited to take advantage of the front parlor and double wraparound galleries. The front parlor is furnished in Victorian antiques and the gourmet multi-course breakfast is served in the formal Victorian dining room under the massive four foot crystal chandelier. Again, every attention to detail has been made from candles burning in a Victorian candelabra, to breakfast served on china with ornate silverware. Guests make take a lovely stroll through the gardens for some peace and quiet or simply unwind on the porch with a good book for a relaxing time at the inn.<br><br>

With turn-of-the- century rooms, guests will find them the perfect place to spend their nights and the perfect place to relax after a day's adventure. Each room comes with air-conditioning, alarm clock radio, ceiling fan, coffeemaker with complimentary coffee, telephone, hair dryer, and a shower massage. | Area Attractions
Visitors will have plenty to do before heading home. They can take in the Cane River Green Market where they can get fresh fruit, vegetables, jams, and fresh baked goodies to take home with them. For the history buffs, check out the Kate Chopin House, an award winning author, and the Natchitoches Parish Old Courthouse Museum, where visitors can learn about the rich tapestry of the Natchitoches parish and its people. After the history lesson, head on over to the Cane Rive National Heritage Area, which is a largely rural agricultural landscape known for its historic Creole-style plantations and structures and its unique people and culture. For the active guest, try outdoor activities such as boating, fishing, golfing, hiking, and sightseeing some of the historic areas. There is also an aquarium, galleries, national parks, parks, and theaters to visit. |
