One of Southern Indiana's historical homes built in 1899 by Elvett Beverly Rhodes, this Victorian home away from home welcomes you with wrap around porches, rocking chairs and swings to relax, nap, just watch the birds or enjoy a view of the West Baden Springs Hotel. They offer five comfortable areas for you to relax and plan your activities to enjoy Southern Indiana's hospitality and recreational opportunities. The front parlor offers comfortable furniture to sit and enjoy the fire. There is a piano and guitar to share your musical talents. Reading material and historical documents provided for inquiring minds. A full breakfast is served on the screened porch or in the dining room, which has spacious tables to enjoy lively conversations or small tables for an intimate meal. There is a library furnished for movie watching, game playing, writing, or, of course, reading.
Each guestroom include air-conditioning, alarm/clock radio, bathrobes, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, and smoke detectors.<br><br> **This property requires a two-night minimum stay for all Friday and Saturday arrivals.** |

| Area Attractions
Some of the attractions include Paoli Peaks, where skiing is the way to get down. Patoka Lake is excellent for bird watching and many year round activities including canoeing and fishing. There are several cave complexes nearby, as well as all season sports, antiquing, and many historical sites. Each April there is a 26 mile marathon. This is a wonderful area for cycling, running, and trail riding. The Railway Museum and train rides, during the in-season, are always a good time. Several golf courses are nearby, as are several hiking areas and many craft and specialty shops. |

726 Rhodes Street, West Baden Springs, IN - Louisville International Airport: Depart the airport heading East and stay straight to go onto Freedom Way. Merge onto I-264 West and continue for 11.6 miles. Merge onto I-64 West/US-150 West via Exit 0-B on the left toward New Albany/St. Louis and continue for 5.1 miles. Merge onto US-150 West via Exit 119 toward Greenville/Paoli and continue for 37.6 miles. Turn left onto US-150/IN- 56/East Main Street. Enter the next roundabout and take the 3RD exit onto US-150/IN-56 and continue for 8.9 miles. Turn left onto IN-56. Turn left onto First Street. Turn right onto Rhodes Street and continue until you reach the property. |
