This intimate 1910 Queen Anne Victorian house is decorated with an old world charm. Antique furnishings are reminiscent of the warmth and appeal of the Victorian era. Decorated with vintage linens, antiques, and the scent of fresh flowers, the inn presents a calm and relaxing atmosphere. Located just three blocks from the charming Woodstock village square, guests can find everything from hand-crafted pottery, apparel, gifts and collectibles, toys, original fine art, antiques, gourmet foods, and exquisite jewelry to a eclectic mix of restaurants including an English tea room. A hot gourmet breakfast is served every morning and in the evening refreshments, homemade pastries, and tea can be served. Mingle with other guests in the common sitting room or read the daily newspaper while relaxing. Take advantage of the business services and free local calls the inn has to offer. Take a stroll through the gardens and watch the sunset or go for a swim in the nearby pool. Dry cleaning services and a fitness facility are both located near the inn. The inn does have one dog as a live in pet.
Every room has been carefully decorated to make where the tiniest details have been considered. Each room at the inn room is named after a woman who was born near the turn of the 20th century and lived in a home similar to the Bundling Board. All of these exemplary women provided distinctive lodging to their guests and exhibited the warmth and hospitality associated with this by-gone Victorian era. All rooms have a private bath, air-conditioning, alarm clock, telephone, refrigerator, and smoke detectors. Guests can have sweets at turndown, which is located in the common area and includes beverages and refreshments. The inn also provides a turn down service. Fresh flowers make each room smell fresh and the 100% cotton hand ironed sheets make guests feel spoiled. | Area Attractions
The City of Woodstock was established in 1844. Its historic square is reminiscent of a New England village and only a few short blocks from the Bundling Board Inn. Listed on the square is a showcase for quaint shops, restaurants, the Woodstock Opera House and many outdoor activities that take place throughout the year. Try biking, golfing, hiking, horseback riding, miniature golfing, and skiing. Also visit the many fine dining restaurants around the town, galleries, museums such as the Chester Gould-Dick Tracey Museum, and nightclubs. Sightsee many of the historic sites in the village or just sit back and relax while attending the theater. Have a picnic lunch in the park or shop the many stores that are in town. |
