Inselhaus is a fine example of turn-of-the-century housing in Macomb. It was built by Frank Blount in 1901 and, later, Ira O'Hara, one of Macomb's most prominent citizens, owned and lived in the house with his family. Amenities include complimentary gourmet breakfast, shuttle service to Amtrak, daily newspaper, and gardens. Smoking is allowed on the front porch and balcony. Pets 50 pounds and under are allowed.
The spacious rooms at Inselhaus are equipped with only the best amenities, including bathrobes, CD and DVD players, and cable television. Balconies/patios, refrigerators, and turndown service (with sweets) are also included. Standard units have fireplaces. |
