Location. The Amalfi Hotel Chicago is a Mediterranean- style hotel designed around the guest experience and located in the trendy River North neighborhood of Chicago, Ill. Within 17 miles of both Midway and O'Hare airports, this hotel is two blocks from Michigan Avenue and the theater district, and one mile from Hancock Tower.
Hotel Features. The six-story Amalfi Hotel Chicago offers a unique, stylized lodging experience complete with complimentary breakfasts and evening cocktail receptions held on every floor. The hotel's full-service concierge desk features "experience designers" to assist with all guest needs including rescheduling a meeting to making dinner reservations. Here, the vapid confines of cubicles and boardrooms are long-gone with the hotel's flexible meeting spaces, and complimentary wireless Internet access, business services and a video library complement them. The hotel also features a cardiovascular fitness center.
Guestrooms. The Amalfi Hotel Chicago's 215 guestroom sanctuaries feature modern furnishings, pillowtop mattresses with 316-thread count Egyptian cotton linens and DVD/CD players. The hotel's guestroom honor bars are fully-stocked and accented by in-room dining from savory Harry Caray's Restaurant. Guests are offered complimentary, fresh-brewed gourmet coffee and some of the finest baked goods Chicago has to offer just outside each guestroom. Private baths feature marble finishes and bathrobes, multi-head showers, Aveda spa products and single-sink countertops with lighted makeup mirrors.
Expert Tip. The 1869 Chicago Water Tower, located less than one mile from the hotel, is one of the few structures to survive the disastrous fire of 1871.
