Expert Tip. Less than four blocks from the Radisson Hotel & Suites Chicago, sits the Old Water Tower. Built in 1869 from limestone blocks, with small towers, it resembles a 13th Century European castle and is one of the few buildings that survived the Great Fire. Although the pumping station still pumps water for the city, today the Old Water Tower serves as a tourist attraction.
