Located two blocks from the Mall of Georgia, the Country Inn & Suites in Buford (Ga.) is only 10 miles from the Lake Lanier Islands. This Island complex, at the foothills of the Georgia Blue Ridge Mountains and with the lake fed by the Chattahoochee and Chestatee Rivers, provides picnicking, camping and beach areas, a water theme park, tennis courts, golf courses and rental boats for visitors.
