Location. The Oceanside Inn rises above the beautiful white-sand beaches of Daytona Beach, Fla. The Daytona Marina, Ocean Center, Daytona Convention Center and Daytona Beach are within two miles of the hotel. Ponce Inlet Lighthouse and Daytona International Speedway are seven miles away, and Daytona Beach International Airport is eight miles from the hotel.
Hotel Features. The Oceanside Inn's lobby extends from the street directly to the beach, and driving on the beach is permitted. Watercraft rentals and horseback riding are available along the oceanfront, as are golf, tennis, aerial sightseeing tours and parasailing. A comfortable sitting area offers floor-to-ceiling windows with ocean views. The outdoor pool with sundeck and lounge chairs overlooks the beach, and a smaller pool allows toddlers and children to splash and play in the Florida sun. The hotel also offers a mirrored fitness center that overlooks the pool. For convention or special occasion use, the hotel features 2,700 square feet of meeting and banquet space.
Guestrooms. The nine-story, 191-guestroom Oceanside Inn features amenities including hypoallergenic bedding upon request, dial-up Internet access and in-room safes. In-room child care is also available. Select rooms include kitchenettes. Guestrooms have bright, contemporary furnishings that reflect Florida's sunny seascapes, and all accommodations offer ocean views.
Expert Tip. Driving is the best way to explore farther along A1A/Atlantic Avenue, and driving is permitted on designated lengths of the beaches during daylight hours.
