Rising eight-stories above a white sand beach, The Sea Turtle is located in the Jacksonville enclave of Atlantic Beach, Fla., near Amelia Island and seven miles from the renowned golf courses of Ponte Vedra. Neptune Beach is two blocks from The Sea Turtle and downtown Jacksonville is a quick 18 miles down the road. The hotel stands 28 miles from Jacksonville International Airport.
Hotel Features. The Sea Turtle features a Key West-style, peach-colored lobby. Louvered shutters and potted palms flank the entryway and create a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere. From the 8,000-square- foot conference center and 11 meeting rooms to the 3,700-square-foot ballroom, there are numerous venues for special events and meetings. If fun is on the agenda, guests need go no further than the outdoor pool and accompanying Cabana Bar. At Plantain's Restaurant, a fusion of Caribbean and Floridian fare is served.
