| Property Info
Tucker Hill Inn is a gracious New England Colonial home situated on lovely grounds that are lightly shaded by ancient oaks and maples. It is a setting suggesting rural life, yet the location is convenient to downtown business and shopping. In the surrounding area are many antique shops and flea markets, and the Village Green.
Tucker Hill Inn Bed & Breakfast opened originally in 1923 as a "Tea Room." Known then as "Lift the Latch Inn," it was a catering house for 30 years, hosting many weddings and social affairs. Many a bride has descended the winding staircase within the entrance foyer. In 1985, new owners renamed the property the "Tucker Hill Inn," and the doors were opened to all as a charming bed and breakfast.

Included with each stay is a full breakfast, which is comprised of juice, fruit, entree and hot beverage. The innkeepers keep menus of area restaurants, and are happy to make reservations for their guests. A notable feature of the property is the private sitting room, situated directly off of the guestrooms, which is brightly decorated, comfortable and cheerful. There is also a library and small conference facilities.

The Tucker Hill Inn offers two rooms with private baths, and a family suite, which has two bedrooms and a shared bath. Guests will be interested to know that the Salem/Concord suite was the birthplace and later workplace for author Nathaniel Hawthorne. The rooms feature cable television with DVD players. Guests can choose movies from the complimentary movie library.

The Tucker Hill Inn B&B is the perfect place to stay for guests looking for small-town hospitality and service in an intimate colonial setting.
