Relax in this historic bed and breakfast lodge built in 1885. A unique inn, it is located on Frisco's historic Main Street and features the ambiance of the 1800's. Guests will love this distinctive mountain lodge with Victorian flair the first time they see it. The inn is the longest ongoing lodging facility in Summit County and was a stagecoach shop, as well as an inn, and way station serving train passengers a long time ago. The basic structure of the inn remains the same as it was in the 1800's and it retains the ambiance of the past era. With a special flair for accommodating guests and providing local insights, the Frisco Lodge is a great place to stay while vacationing. After eating a hearty gourmet breakfast, guests are free to roam around the lodge and stroll through the gardens for some fresh air, sun bathe on the outdoor sundeck, or simply relax in the common sitting room, mingling with other guests. In the afternoon, grab some treats such as homemade bread and soup and head outside to eat underneath a tree, or stay inside and chat with friends about the days adventures. A game room is available to play in, a movie library to browse over, and a nearby outdoor pool to swim in, on those hot, summer days. As the day is waning, relax in the outdoor hot tub overlooking the courtyard. Visit with new-found friends on one of the outdoor decks and patios overlooking the gold medal winning native flower and water gardens or under the stars as the evening unfolds. There is no better way to unwind from your day's adventures.
The main lodge features nine distinctive rooms, each are unique, including three rooms with private bath (en-suite) and six rooms (three deluxe and three classic) which share 3 baths on the hall. Our lodge rooms have an 1800's antique ambience and will make guests feel at home. All rooms have an alarm clock radio, cable TV with VCR, ceiling fan, daily newspaper, high speed Internet access, smoke detector, and telephone with free local calls. Guests can also sip on a cup of complimentary coffee made from the coffeemakers that are in each room, too. Some rooms come with a kitchenette and microwave.<br><br> **This property requires a two-night minimum stay for all Friday and Saturday arrivals.** |

Summit County is located in the heart of the Colorado Rocky Mountains in Summit County, CO. Frisco is in the center of Summit County and provides easy access to the vast array of recreational opportunities available in the area. The lodge is centrally located to Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, Keystone, Vail, Loveland, and A-Basin. All are less than 30 minutes away, and Copper Mountain is only six minutes. In the summer, there are 60 miles of paved bike paths and countless miles of mountain bike trails. The lodge is right down the street from beautiful Lake Dillon. There are boundless shopping outlets, fine dining, and many other attractions to choose from. The lodge is located in the center of historic Main Street and within easy walking distance of many fine restaurants, shops, and night spots. The Eagles nest Wilderness is only 1/2 mile away. |

Turn left onto Broadway. Turn right onto West 8th Avenue. Turn slight left onto Kalamath Street. Turn slight right onto US-6 W/W 6th Avenue. Merge onto I-70 towards Idaho Springs/Grand Junction. Merge onto CO-91 south via exit number 195 towards Copper Mountain/Leadville. Turn right onto Copper Road. Turn sharp left to stay on Copper Road. |
