Other summer activities include walking the streets of Breckenridge; this Victorian town always provides a welcoming change of pace with exceptional restaurants and fabulous shops at any season of the year. The Back Stage Theater has been presenting award-winning theatre for 26 years. Country Boy Mine is one of the best preserved mining sites in the state of Colorado and is the only real mine tour in Summit County where you can see real miners working and operating real equipment as you travel over l,000 feet underground] In the winter enjoy down hill skiing, Breckenridge sees an annual snowfall of 300 inches, and has twenty-three lifts. You can also try your hand at cross country skiing on one of the 139 trails that make Breckenridge one of North America's finest ski destinations; a winter wonderland of challenging peaks and inviting runs.
