The Blue Violet Mansion is conveniently located in Napa's fabled Old Town historic district, near the Napa River. Walk three blocks along the river to explore the downtown's array of shops, services and excellent restaurants. StrolL around Old Town and discover the period architectural styles and details with annotated historic maps. The world-famous Wine Train is only 10 blocks from the Mansion, whose dinner excursion train runs up the Valley through vineyards and woodlands. Visit Napa Valley's fabled wineries. The property can provide maps for solo exploring or can make arrangements for a private tour. Napa Valley has many outstanding restaurants and the property keeps an up-to-date book of menus from restaurants throughout the Valley. Enjoy a mud bath at Calistoga or soar over the Valley at sunrise in a hot air balloon. Go on a horseback riding trip or a bicycle trip. The property can make all the arrangements. If guests wish to explore the backroads of the wine country, the Mansion can pack a picnic lunch for them. Limousine services, as well as old-fashioned touring cars with chauffeurs are available for touring the Valley. A short drive by car to the Ferry Terminal in Vallejo will bring you to a pleasant hour's voyage to spending a day exploring San Francisco. |

443 Brown Street, Napa, CA - From San Francisco International Airport: When departing the airport, merge onto US-101 North toward San Francisco and continue for 11 miles. Take I-80 East towards Bay Bridge/Oakland/Seventh Street/US-101 North. After 32 miles, merge onto Marine World Parkway/CA-37 West toward Napa. Turn a slight right onto Sonoma Boulevard/CA-29 North. Continue to follow CA-29 North. After seven miles, take the ramp toward Downtown Napa/Lake Berryessa. Stay straight to go onto Napa Vallejo Highway/CA-221 North. Napa Vallejo Highway/CA-221 North becomes Soscol Avenue. Turn left onto 3rd Street. Turn left onto Main Street. Turn right onto 5th Street. Turn left onto Brown Street and continue for 2/10 mile to the property. |
