Welcome to the Camellia Inn, a charming 1869 Italianate Victorian Inn, located in the heart of Sonoma County's wine country. More than 50 varieties of camellias bloom on the inn's landscaped grounds, surrounding the villa- style swimming pool. Interior architectural treasures include inlaid hardwood floors, beautiful double parlors and twin marble fireplaces. Each of the nine thoughtfully appointed guest rooms features a private bath. A delicious full breakfast awaits you each morning. In the evening, sample local wines and cheeses. The Lewand Family also produces award-winning wines] Stop by their Camellia Cellars Tasting Room at 57 Front Street, just a few blocks away. This small winery features wonderful Cabernet Sauvignons, Zinfandels and Sangiovese. The Inn blends an authentic vintage environment with modern luxury amenities to create a memorable getaway.
All of the rooms at the inn include a full breakfast, evening refreshments and use of the swimming pool in warm weather. All rooms also include central heating and air-conditioning, radio/alarm clock, bathrobes and ceiling fans. | Area Attractions
Sonoma County is a jewel] Beautiful scenery, fine food, exquisite wines and great weather make this a favorite getaway destination. With thirteen renowned wine appellations there is much to explore. Healdsburg itself is located at the crossroads of the Dry Creek, Russian River and Alexander Valley wine appellations. Winery tours can be arranged by limousine, jeep, van or bike or you can explore on your own the more than 60 area wineries with a Russian River Wine Road map. Festivals, open houses, special events, wine tasting dinners, barrel tasting, concerts and theater performances happen every month at the area wineries. Kayakers enjoy paddling along the Russian River that starts in Healdsburg and goes out to the mouth of the Pacific Ocean. Picnic, boating, waterskiing, swimming and fishing are available at nearby Lake Sonoma or head to the Coast for deep-sea fishing, kayaking, tide pool exploration or sunbathing. Hikers, horseback riders and mountain bikers take pleasure among trees 310 feet-tall and 1,400 years-old at Armstrong Redwoods State Preserve and the Austin Creek Recreational Area with its twenty miles of trails and panoramic wilderness views. |

211 North Street, Healdsburg, CA - Sonoma County Airport: Depart airport going east on Airport Boulevard and merge onto US-101 North toward Eureka. Take take the exit toward Central Healdsburg. Keep left at the fork in the ramp, and the ramp becomes Healdsburg Avenue/Old Redwood Highway. Turn right onto North Street and continue until you reach the property. |
